Modest soviet engineer Mikhail Electronovich Adamov who in the mid-90th moved from the Northern Palmyra to Haifa is from his youth obsessed with the fate of the famed British explorer Colonel Percy Offset, who completely perished in the Brazilian jungle. Although he is not aware that one of the members of the mysterious special expedition to the Amazon was his own grandfather Arthur, a senior security officer from the immediate vicinity of Felix Dzerzhinsky, believed to be repressed during Stalin's purges in the central apparatus of the NKVD. However, Moshe has purely personal motives which impel him to embark on a quest for the fabulous White Tower, the Cradle of Everything. He wants to bring back his wife, as legendary Sumer Tammuz did it in ancient Babylonian myth about the Kingdom of the Dead and goddess Ishtar. Moshe goes to South America not alone. He is accompanied by his daughter, the beautiful Rita, a student of the University of Haifa. On the journey both begin to suspect that they are under surveillance from the security services. And they have no idea how everything is serious.
