Nightingale is a light-hearted historical fiction. I wrote it with the purpose of teaching scripture through the eyes of a fictional angelical character. Nightingale is a clumsy worshiping angel who after watching his friend, Ministering angel Grace, longs to be a ministering angel. He applies for the position and his application is accepted, he begins the decades of intensive training required for his temporary status to become permanent. In order for permanency, he must travel to earth and guide a rebellious young thief, Robert, to Repentance. At age 17 Robert leaves the faith and turns to a life of crime. As Nightingale attempts to keep demons at bay, he takes Robert back to the last year of Jesus' life. As the unlikely pair followers the minister of Jesus, Robert begins to question why he has chosen an immoral path. Nightingale, a Ministering Angel weaves a winsome and poignant parable to spiritual realities beyong the limits of our human perception--truths about heaven's purpose and protection that will inspire you to see life in this world in a whole new light.
