ran into some stumbling blocks and couldn't pull the grit and expression he wanted out of himself. Inspired by reading
Patti Smith
's autobiographical chronicle Just Kids,
recorded the
No Recognize
EP as a sort of reset, getting some raw electric free sounds out of his system in order to return to the blues-based primitivism of his 100-song magnum opus.
