Hua Quan (Glorious Boxing) is a northern long fist style of kung fu and therefore requires good physical coordination, flexibility, strength and understanding of proper body alignment (structure). Its movements are very clear and defined with every posture being interconnected to each other. This makes understanding your body structure very important. There is a saying that states "release hands moving like a wild cyclone, but stand as calm as Mount Tai." This means that even though there is great speed in the execution of Hua Quan the stability and structure must be maintained at all times.
