Dr. Barbara is a graduate of Grambling State University, among other universities. She possesses a master's degree in nursing education and a doctorate degree in naturopathy. While at GSU, Barbara was taught that everybody is somebody, and today she wants you to know that you, too, are somebody unique and powerful! Regardless of divorce, depression, and setbacks, she learned from her failures and continued forward, making order from chaos. She believes that her life mission centers on improving the inner person through selflessly giving a helping hand and an encouraging word. Dr. Barbara believes that life is a never-ending lesson that we must always be prepared for, so she takes each day in stride and with a receptive attitude. She lives by the old adage of "prayer changes things." The book she has written provides insight to problems everyone faces at some point in their life- doubting themselves and dwelling on past failures. This book also offers inclusion of scriptural insight in life situations and places strong emphasis on allowing God to reign supreme. It includes exercises of prayer and reflections that can be incorporated in everyday life as we all strive to formulate new methods of self- improvement and finding peace in life, regardless of our current circumstances.
