INTRODUCTION: The world is a complex place. Shall it not change? Should it not have a rearranging order? Change is an impetus for dynamism so far as humanity is concerned. Who will wish it away? It is always on the move and could not be stopped from happening. Change for the better; change through thick and thin; change that must be affected by a conscious and well-intended motive. What would change? What should not change? How are changes going on from the natural order in time and place? For whatever the matter could be, the need must be felt and not far from desideratum. The poem-Ode To Change-attempts at wondering about the need for change. It excites itself with the conscious effort of making change happen. The issue then is, in case there had not been change, what would have been the situation? Time gone over a period serves as a chronicler of history which is characterized by change. For this reason, the poem titled 'History' is made available in the collection of 60 poems, most of them in one way or the other have got something to do with change as the reader ponders, pauses and reflects with the appreciation of those poems. These poems must touch every lover of poetry. Nature requires and demands that change, if not for the better, is experienced in time and place.
