Fighting the Viet Cong from 35,000 feet, Capt. Jack Sciutti flew over 100 missions in his three tours in Vietnam. This is his powerful portrayal of his most memorable missions, including numerous in-flight emergencies, and a special 'black ops' bomb run. This is his Odyssey from becoming a USAF R.O.T.C. cadet at Virginia Tech, to a SAC nuclear warrior and Vietnam Veteran.
He elected to include the stories of two personnel involved in the ground campaign, one at Khe Sanh and the other, a non-combatant Donut Dollie.
Furthermore, and over and beyond the strict call of duty, Jack and his crew on one return to Guam, conducted their own unauthorized "personal" mission against a Soviet spy trawler stationed just at the international boundary from the runway of Andersen AFB, Guam. In his words, "We were fast, loud, and very low."
Containing numerous personal photographs, these visuals provide an exceptionally rare glimpse into the world of a BUFF driver and his crew!
