The comedy-drama, directed by Mariano Cohn and Gast?n Duprat, is the story of a mogul who feels he has done nothing of importance. Humberto Su?rez (Jos? Luis G?mez) reflects on his eightieth birthday that he hasn't left anything to be remembered. Using his vast wealth, he decides the best way to make his mark is through film. He hires avant-garde director Lola Cuevas (Pen?lope Cruz), giving her the freedom to cast the film. She decides the best way to proceed is to hire opposites; shallow film actor F?lix Rivero (Antonio Banderas) and veteran stage performer Iv?n Torres (Oscar Mart?nez).
