Vera James attended Allegheny Community College in Pittsburgh, Pa. and Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, Alabama. She is a former Surgical Technologist having worked in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Napa, San Francisco and San Jose, California. She has been a Bible School teacher for over 30 years. Mrs. James has spoken at Ladies Day Programs at several congregations of the Church of Christ in Georgia. She was one of the youth leaders and the editor of the McCartha Drive Church of Christ bulletin for ten years. She is a Notary Public for the state of Georgia. She is the author of "Children Who Come and Go".
