He admitted he could speak with angels and with people who had passed away. He could see events take place at hundreds of miles of distance. He traveled to other planets in his dreams. He died in 1772. The religion built on his writings is called the New Church. This is the story of how I became an ordained minister in this church. And how I got kicked out.
