After raising her four children, Texas born and raised Stephenson received a double major undergraduate Artium Baccalaureus (AB) degrees in History and English, with a minor in Spanish. She then completed her Master's degree in Library Science from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Stephenson's honesty and straight forward sharing of her very personal story is compelling as well as comforting.
