Being an appeal for an interdisciplinary perspective on the Foreign Language Teacher Research, this collective volume invites its Readers to a discussion with Polish linguists and pedagogues. It offers an informative conceptual discourse set in the context of FLT (with an emphasis on Da F aspects) and pedagogy. Theoretical approaches, empirical findings as well as examples of Best Practices are an attempt to position the FL Teacher Research in a new theoretical and empirical way. The topics of the contributions cover different phases of teacher education, taking into account various means of professional training and development as well as current problems regarding the professional identity of FL teachers.
