Along with his intern, Sofia, and Argentine government representative, Arianna, they discover more than any of them could have ever imagined. After e-mails of his discovery are intercepted on their way to news agencies, the excavation site is quickly shut down by a group of men with many questions and few answers. Nationalist, criminal organizations, and political alliances reaching back to the civil war all find themselves racing to find what may have one day been kept at the Ruins of Quilmes.
