Paul Zabo's family migrates from Slovakia in 1913. Paul's father William enlists in the army and serves the entire Second World War as an infantryman. Looking for peace, he finally settles in Buchanan, Virginia. Walk with Paul Zabo growing up in Virginia's southern forest and towns. Studying forestry Paul graduates fro Virginia Polytechnic Institute, a short time later is drafted. Unlike many today, Paul's senior trip is to South Vietnam in 1971 and the new forests of Quảng Trị province. He experiences operation Lam Son 719 with the 11th Infantry Regiment. The journey is his story.
