Peaches is a family pet poodle who has great powers to find things when no one else can. In her other private eye cases, Peaches helps her friends find things they've lost. In Finding My New Home, however, Peaches and her mommy move to another state and she has to find everything new for herself. She needs daycare, a place to stay when her mommy has to go out of town, a vet, and a groomer. The move makes Peaches pretty scared in the beginning, but she makes new friends right away and everything else falls into place quickly. She realizes that moving can be fun and is not something to be afraid of. She loves her new home. Look for other adventures of Peaches the Private Eye Poodle, such as Finding Dipsey Doodle, The Missing Muffin Caper, Where is Loosey Goosey? and Finding Foster a Home. Patricia D. Hamilton and her pet poodle, Peaches, recently moved from Atlanta to Roanoke, Virginia. She spent most of her working career at Delta Air Lines in New York City and Atlanta. Prior to taking early retirement in 2003, she headed up Delta Air Lines' Worldwide Sales Training Organization. She took early retirement to start her own corporate training company, which has been successfully operating for eleven years. She has written interactive training materials for about twenty-five years and is a keynote speaker on customer service. The author has always wanted to venture into writing children's books. When taking her dog Peaches for walks, children always run up to her because Peaches is so cute (according to a biased parent), so she put the two together: Peaches and children's stories.
