This book is about the changing perceptions of mankind from time to time of the world they lived in, and the gods they worshipped. Also how perceptions have changed, with increase in consciousness, awareness, and knowledge with the passage of time bringing them nearer to reality. But reality has even now eluded them because all religions have become separate water tight compartments, as they emphasize on customs and rituals that have grown around each religion, rather than the teachings of god. So they function more like clubs each with its own dress code, belief codes, conduct codes, attitudes, values of life, behavior patterns and manmade customs, none of which are really God's teaching. In the beginning when god was not known by separate names in different groups of humans, he has led the whole of mankind initially from an animal stage to the current stage of sophistication step by step leading humans to a better understanding of the objective of life; that is, increased consciousness, awareness, knowledge, wisdom and sensitivity although each group was located in far flung places. They learnt to communicate in different languages, and thus maintained their own identity. So the acceptance of unity in diversity becomes an important subject of research which will require international participation.
