Jack Martin tries to make ends meet after leaving the military, suffering from constant nightmares after his ordeal.
He tries to live through small jobs to feed his loyal dog Milo and survive but to no avail.
One day, after signing up to a pet sitting app for a side job, he is contacted by a shy rich man named Arthur who asks for him to look after an unnamed dog locked down inside a basement in the man's mansion. Jack agrees, as he is promised a large pay, but his curiosity might be stronger than the appeal of money, and what he'll discover will change his life, for the better maybe.
