One man's life, one world's history, all told through a lifetime collection of postage stamps.
Dale T. Kreutter was born in Buffalo, New York, to Donald and Alice Kreutter. His brother, Thomas, is deceased. Mr. Kreutter graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA degree from the University of Georgia and received his MA degree from Central Michigan University. He served in the United States Army from 1955-87 and was commissioned as Second Lieutenant Infantry from Officer Candidate School (OCS) in 1966. He retired as Major, Infantry on March 1, 1987.
After his military service, Mr. Kreutter became a registered representative with a National Financial Services Organization in 1987. He retired as a Senior Financial Advisor in 2003.
Mr. Kreutter has been a member of the American Philatelic Society since 1975 and a motivated stamp collector for 45 years. As a member of Rotary International, he has served the Rotary Club of Fayetteville, Georgia from 1989-2009. He is a lifetime member of Phi Beta Kappa (University of Georgia chapter), as well as the Military Officers of America. He authored The Realism and Symbolism of Postage Stamps (e-book) in 2010. Mr. Kreutter and his wife, married over sixty years, have two sons and five grandchildren.
