was best-known for being one of 's best (and most versatile) pianists of the 1920s. This valuable Folkways LP contains all six of his piano solos plus Bargy's 11 piano rolls. Dating from 1922-24, these performances find him mostly playing his own originals, novelty ragtime compositions from the era when that short-lived music was at the height of its popularity.
