On a routine commercial flight, an unexpected and violent storm forces a pilot (Gerard Butler) to make an emergency landing for the safety of his passengers and crew. Yet the disastrous situation soon escalates in severity when the pilot realizes he landed in the heart of a war-torn country. He must then rely on a convict (Mike Colter) traveling on his flight to rescue the other passengers being held hostage by militants. Jean-Fran?ois Richet directs the action thriller.
