When terrorists kidnap the commanding general of US forces in Europe and take him to a bunker complex in Poland, a SEAL team is deployed to rescue him. After the team parachutes into the area where the general is held and rescue him they meet a Polish engineer in the woods who has worked on a secret project in a nearby mine. From the engineer the team learns that they have been transported back in time to World War II by the effects of a device known as Die Glocke.
Now the team must evade German and Russian soldiers and find a way to bring the general and themselves back to the present time.
