After the death of Eleanor H. Porter in 1920, the Pollyanna series was officially continued by Harriet Lummis Smith. Unabridged, in comfortable 14-point type and with the original black-and-white illustrations by H. Weston Taylor, the first two of Harriet Lummis Smith's charming Pollyanna sequels have been combined in a single volume. In the 1924 "Pollyanna of the Orange Blossoms," Pollyanna is a cheerful, eager young bride who wears orange blossoms at her wedding. She and Jimmy grow and learn together while having great and small adventures and misadventures--until Pollyanna decides to keep a secret. In the 1925 "Pollyanna's Jewels," Pollyanna is a happy mother of three, raising her own children and partially raising some of the neighbors' kids while she's at it. She must persevere through some dark moments, but friendship and gratitude eventually win the day.
