We have watched with pride and admiration the first elected Afro-American president; have a very successful two years in office. Then, a political plague of gridlock and obstruction rained on him. In spite of this political rigor mortis in Washington, the people re-elected him to a second term. In a year, the president will be a truly lame duck. He will both have Nancy Pelosi as the Speaker again, where he can clarify his legacy and add to his body of accomplishments or he will just coast through the final two years with the same sinister force that has bedeviled him since November, 2010. I look with anticipation for November 5, 2014 to see what the American people decided. Once again, I have been disappointed, frustrated, angry and completely enervated by the midterms.
