The Progressive Armonía Studies Level 3 book uses a simple, tried and true progressive approach to continue learning how to play standard chords and notes on the guitar, vihuela, and guitarron. The book focuses on the standard keys of F, and Bb as well as common minor keys in mariachi repertoire. The exercises go from simple to complex with the student ultimately studying the previously learned mariachi styles from Levels 1-2 and the mariachi styles of focus in this book: huapango variation, son variation, joropo variation, and son jarocho. There is little else needed to continue to learn how to play the mariachi guitar, vihuela and guitarron at the advanced level. Basic knowledge of music elements is required to start and the guidance of a mentor is recommended to be successful using this amazing resource.
