The 3 part volume begins with early 80's poems of Manfred Pollard, through MFA years at UNO.. through hurricane Katrina, all rewritten & revised with current bits added to compress the sense of time. Part 2 is a romantic art adventure fantasia with a musical sensibility. Part 3 is a sonnet series by M. D. Veritas that deals with the supernatural sensibility of dream states (as started in pt, 1) the deaths of loved ones and scientific research. A 15 pg. essay follows the poems pertaining to dreams, scientific and literary research on nature and life after death, how literary allusions can aid the imagination in reading poems about glimpses of the spirit world, aspects of nature and day to day life with and without psychic awareness.
