Her mother gently checked her. Listen, dear Mary; the stories of the blessed Saints are chiefly told us in the Bible, and you know, when we are reading any of God's Holy Word, we must be quiet and reverent. If you will try and remember this, I will prepare a little history, which I will read to you on the Saints' Days as they come. We will try and find out what particular lesson we are to learn from each Saint - and what else, Mary?
