Well, of course, the picture books make BIG signs and march in protest to be read. After all, they are BOOKS and do not want to become extinct like dinosaurs. One bright day, Out of the blue, A shelf of picture books were full of gloom.... They were stuck on bookshelves all day, all night, . . . in a straight line and in plain sight. But all they wanted was to be rescued and to be READ. The picture books wailed—read me, read me, read me— but were mostly ignored; left on shelves for hours, collected dust, and waited to be loved.
