A Lantean queen will be crowned in mere days, and one magical crown jewel is still missing. Tasked with retrieving it, Emery and Loki set out on a risky theft that threaten their freedom if caught. If they succeed, however, having their most recent crime stricken from the record might finally be within reach.
But things are not as they seem in Atlantis, and when an old threat reemerge, Emery must choose which side to stand on. The right side? Or the familiar one?
The answer to that should be obvious, but when even Loki questions her motives, she must prove that she has not fallen back into bad habits... no matter how tempting...
Fighting against the full force of greedy mages and magical gemstones, Emery and Loki have a short window if they are to save the city.
