The 2010-2011 National Football League season marks the 50th anniversary of the Philadelphia Eagles’ 1960 championship season. Although the Eagles won back-to-back championships in 1948 and 1949, it took them eleven years to once again become world champions. With this book you will be able to relive the Eagles’ last championship season. This book contains stories from 21 of the 25 living members of that championship team. Also included is a tribute to remember the “Gone But Not Forgotten” members of the team, as well as a section called “From The Sidelines” which includes different perspectives from those around the team in 1960. The color section of this book contains the front cover of each game day program guide issued throughout the season along with game recaps and scoring drives. There is also a special section that includes a play-by-play description of the 1960 Championship Game. The book ends with a collection of photographs that visually recap the season.
