This is fourth book in the series of 'The Life of Riley' who is an Australian labradoodle. Riley goes to Rome, Italy for his school holidays and stays with his cousins Jim and Marie. Jim and Marie own a pizza shop in the heart of Rome. As a way to say thank you for having him stay with them, Riley decides to roll up his sleeves and help out by doing small jobs and deliveries. This will not only help Jim and Marie but he will get to make new friends which is how he meets Sophia who shows him around the city on her very beautiful Italian Vespa Moped. Riley had such a wonderful time he wants to come again next year.
This is a great bedtime story that shows Riley's thoughtfulness and kindness to help Jim and Marie in the pizza shop. It has also helped him to meet people and make special friends. The story along with the beautiful illustrations helps start young children's imaginations to think of beautiful, fun things and has a message that helping out is a good thing. This book would suit children between the ages of 3-8 years and encourages the beautiful habit of reading that will bring fun and joy to your children at bedtime.
