Richard Bohler, who is Rita Bohler's father, tells the story of his daughter from his grave. He speaks of this story as a story of revenge from his daughter, who is a very powerful sorceress. King Charles Montgomery is infatuated with Rita's beauty and wants her for himself and doesn't want his son to have her. Therefore, he tries to cause his son's death by putting him in the front lines of battle. This causes Rita to fight in the front lines with him, and also causes Richard, Rita's father, to fight alongside his daughter, which causes his death. This causes Rita to seek out revenge against the king. Therefore, after she gets exiled from the kingdom, she creates a beautiful heart shaped gem and gives it magic powers. Then, she gives it to the king as a trap. After she becomes demon possessed, she gets killed by her now demon possessed husband, and her soul enters the heart. In present day, someone picks up this beautiful heart shaped gem, and gets all they desire, but not without an extremely angry and demon possessed sorceress coming out and creating destruction on absolutely everything and everyone in her path.
