There are books with useful tips about RVing.
This isn't one of them.
This is a book of stories about everything you don't want to do if you vacation in an RV.
Instead of clever suggestions for safety or ease of operation, it's loaded with screw-ups - the blunders of an RVer for thirty years who's been described as "a few campsites short of a full park." Skim a page or two as long as you don't model yourself after him. If you do, you'll buy the wrong RV, pay too much, bang it up quickly and often, and make a ton of costly decisions you can't undo - no matter what kind of rig you're talking about from a Class A to a 5th wheel. Newbies especially, don't emulate a wild-man who's filled his book with blunders. Old pro RVers, you'll doubtless recognize a few of his mistakes. Hopefully you haven't made as many as he has. If you have money to waste and nothing better to do, buy this book. But read it with caution or you'll find yourself RVing on the wrong side of the road.
