Though was inactive for most of the 2000s, the muscular, breakdown-heavy style of metalcore the band helped to pioneer continued to grow. With , the band's third album since their 2007 re-formation, the Syracuse, New York outfit show they're still the masters of their domain. Where other bands flatter to deceive with over the top guitar stunts and studio effects, keep things simple, brutal, and effective, opting to go for maximum impact with every track.
