Sabrina and Ian Phillips, happily married and very much in love, have an open relationship and are deeply involved in the swinging community. Ian travels for work, and Sabrina has plenty of freedom to engage in random sexual encounters with both women and men.
When Sabrina propositions a man she has just met at a swingers party hosted by the couple's wealthy best friends, their path begins to take unexpected turns. The man's girlfriend shows up, and Sabrina and Ian are horrified to recognize it is someone from Ian's office. The initial shock still haunting them, she unexpectedly approaches Ian and Sabrina with an offer to resolve the situation and keep everyone's secret.
The arrangement works out well, and everything appears to be running harmoniously. But tragedy suddenly strikes, and a shadowy person who has been stalking Sabrina through text messages begins to make stronger advances.
Will a move from the city to the suburbs be enough to shake off the menace seemingly lurking around every corner, or will the distant threat become all too real-and all too dangerous?
