Verik was once known as the trade-capital of the world. Dozens of countries would send their merchants to the city of Nexem to barter and exchange. You wouldn't think that now. After Greater Venridia took over much of the north, there's little left over. Now, forced to defend their northern border, Verik is doing whatever it has to in order to not lose their way of life. The Princess turned Queen find herself going to the city of marble. From an outside perspective it is beautiful. There, she bides her time. At least she's not alone as she's accompanied by her friend and protector Knight Rosen Veltes. What they do from there is up to them. While what happened couldn't be his fault, blame nonetheless falls on the Sellsword. As it always does. Harlem, having fled Onlet after persecution, carries a heavy heart to inform the Queen about her country; and about her future. Will his wounds overtake him? Will he find them in the former trade capital?
