It wasn't until she peered at the lifeless body of her kidnapper, that she wished she could have her dull and uncomplicated life back. Or at least it seemed that way now. Even throughout the chaos in the months leading up to this moment, the envy of her old life was just a small flicker that could easily be silenced. Now it burned hotter and brighter, taking complete control of her thoughts and emotions. It all started when sixteen-year-old, Selene Thornton and her family made yet another move across country to Wisconsin for her father's job. Nowhere felt like home, except this time, they technically were moving back. Her parents inherited her grandmother's estate, finally hoping to settle down in one spot. Selene just wanted to be able to finish out High School and move on. Constantly being the new kid was hard. Little did she know, these seemingly large problems were going to be the least of her concern. A whirlwind of events led to Selene's realization that she was a witch. A newfound witch that had a hard time controlling her powers. But that wasn't her only problem. She was also being hunted by groups that had also learned of her abilities, and they were set to destroy her. The High Priestess that found her, may be Selene's only hope.
