According to myth the world began when the Goddess descended upon the land and with her 'light' brought life into the world. From the Humans she chose four to serve as her speakers and together they created a utopia. However, one day the Goddess disappeared leaving behind only fragments of her 'light'. The Speakers now Prophets crafted great treasures with this 'light' and used it to reshape the world. But without her guidance the world fell into darkness and disaster plunged the world into a dark age. The darkness lasted for five hundred years before it receded and the new modern age began. In this new age people search the world for fragments of the Goddess's 'light' hoping to shape the world their own way. Among the scattered fragments of 'light' exist seven pieces that shine brighter than any other. These seven sacred treasures are core to an ancient mystery and as they awaken, they shatter the very walls of the world itself. With many seeking to claim this power and four ancient evils slowly awakening the world cries out for heroes. And to those who answer the call will fight to defend the world as it stands on the edge of disaster.
