Dean Moyers was an ordinary kid from just outside of Pittsburgh. He had ordinary friends, an ordinary childhood, and enjoyed taking part in very ordinary things. Every night as a child Dean's father would tell him stories of a magical realm where Dean learned about powerful wizards, brave warriors, and an unspeakable evil that lurked in the darkness. One night, his father gave him a gift, an amulet, that was said to have magical powers.
On that fateful evening, Dean's life would change forever and his world would be turned upside down. In time, he would learn that the realm his father told him stories about was real and that Dean himself was a guardian, a protector, a knight. Dean learns that this hidden realm is in danger and with the magical amulet, he must embark on a journey to save it. With help from unexpected allies, two tiny creatures who are simply known as Gnomelings, along with his closest friend, and his crush who lives in England, Dean Moyers will come face to face with an ancient evil, storybook creatures, and a life that is anything but ordinary.
