Short's Stories, "Jaw Dropping," is the fifth in a series of volumes recounting the author's life and travels. Ronan Short was born in London, England in 1940 and brought up at the British National Institute for Medical Research, where his father was in charge of the animal division. His life from childhood to the present has been full of adventures and encounters. After emigrating to the United States, Ronan made his way to Alaska for a weekend 'stopover'. He has now been in Alaska for 55 years. This volume includes stories from his travels in the late-1960s through Central and South America.
