In Sin, Satan, Sex, or Self?, author Jeffrey Dutton Smith builds a new framework to understand salvation in Christ. The 20th century framework, as popularized by Billy Graham, was great for the 1950s but is increasingly irrelevant in today's post-Christian era (as Chapter 7 of the book makes clear). The new framework starts at the root cause of all problems, explains a process called Devolution (pictured on the front cover), and builds to a final chapter where the role of the United States of America is explained. This new approach is analogous to what happens to a TV screen when rabbit ears are replaced with high definition cable. Additionally, two other titles by the author are included - Adam, Moses, Jesus, Abraham: Getting Closer to the Truth of the Gospel, and Returning to God, 3 Steps, 43 Minutes.
