This was the Lady Frances, fecond daughter of Thomas, Earl of Suffolk. Her elder fifter, Elizabeth, was the wife of William Knollys, Earl of Banbury, an aged nobleman, upon whofe death two male children were produced as born of the marriage; but their legitimacy was not allowed, and the Earldom of Banbury thereby became extinét.
