Sir Torgus Bluestone comes to Thedia to be a shining light in a dark world. Followed by his good friends, Olgar and Balkar, they lead the free army of the City of Gandrofar against an invading horde of trolls and werewolves. Soon after, they find out that something even more sinister is guiding the trolls and other monsters on the continent of Loregard, the evil Lord Zekronis of Metternicea. When the city of Koreheim is taken over by his evil forces led by the frost giant king, Gorm Thrymson, their group realizes that Lord Zekronis has his own allies enforcing his will throughout the region. The worst of them being the Vampire Queen of Darkmist Castle, Lamalla. Torgus and his group must journey north to her dreaded lands and recover an ancient artifact. They soon realize that the Vampire Queen and her host are just a small fraction of Lord Zekronis' forces and the evil they are unleashing throughout the region.
