Adam Smalls wins a huge cooking competition that lands him his dream job in the heart of Seattle at a new sex themed hotel. He's determined to do the job well because it's what his late father wanted for him, even though his own dreams are very different than those of his fathers. Afraid of letting anyone too close, Adam makes sure not to get mixed up with any women who might take him too seriously. Unfortunately when he meets Pamela, he knows she's the exact opposite type of woman that he is comfortable with getting close to, but no matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to keep his eyes off of her. Every time she's in the room, something happens to him.... His libido takes off and he can't seem to coral his hormones for the life of him. Pamela Price has just quit the newspaper business to strike out on her own as a novelist. She wants to take the romance industry by storm, and she is sure that researching a place like this hotel was just the way to do it. Once she's there and she spots the sinfully sexy chief chef, she just knows that she has to find out everything there is to know about him. He's the perfect specimen for the leading man in her book. She felt she had something to prove after taking such a huge leap of faith. Pamela is determined to do this right. The best way to do that? Move in to the hotel and follow the chef around, asking questions and getting a feel for the seductive environment for what would be the hottest romance novel the world had ever seen if she had anything to say about it. What ever it took to make that happen, she was prepared to do it. Once there, she has a hard time keeping her mind off Adam's sexy body, not to mention those sinful things he cooks up in his kitchen that are meant to stir the libido. She knows it could just be because of the things she was writing in the book that had her gazing at him from afar thinking that she could be the one to tame this bad boy.... But there was just something about the way he acted around her that gave her a small glimmer of hope. There was something about him... Some deep hurt that had to have caused him to push women away from him... if she could just find a way to get past that, she just knew that things could be different... But that wasn't why she was at the hotel. She didn't check in for romance. She checked in for inspiration. Can she ignore the passes he throws at her every time she turns around and stay on task, or is she destined for certain heartbreak according to all the woman working at the hotel, at the hands of this would be Casanova?
