In Denver in July 1970, teen Micky prays to lose her memory. Because she never told her older, difficult husband Wally about Daddy's cabin in the mountains, that's her safe destination. Daddy went missing eight years ago, and she hasn't seen Mama since she ran away from home. Now she's a solotramp -- completely on her own. She's free to sing as much as she wants, and she wants to write down her memories she's never talked about (especially regarding her experiences as a runaway) and then bury the journal and be done with her past. But she knows that running is but a hope and longing for something more tolerable, no guarantees. GODISNOWHERE, she writes, and her prayer is answered.
