This book is a compilation of poetry written by Taylor Wilcox in 2017. Its contents include stories of an internal desire to find purpose, and finding refuge and serenity in self with the support of positive influences. These pieces are very original and intimately describe regular emotions and affections. This book was designed to help build a reading audience for Taylor's poetry. While the book also contains poetry attributed to life as an African American, it is not limited in audience and is relative the average reader.
