Stranger in the Forest is the second volume of the African Tales Series, written by Betty Misheiker. It tells the story of a fierce Big Lion who is very annoyed at the presence of a strangely mysterious creature who has trespassed into his territory. After sending all his animals to discover exactly who has had the nerve to come into their world, he gets no clear answer until in a temper, he goes to discover exactly who the intruder is. It is a charming and funny story which will enchant children and adults of all ages.
