This filmed stage play from NAACP award-winning playwright David E. Talbert stars Garcelle Beauvais as Samantha Stone, a wife and mother who seems to have everything one could want: beauty, intelligence, children who love her, and a satisfying marriage to her high school sweetheart, Sylvester (Isaiah Washington). Tragedy strikes, however, when Sylvester announces that he's leaving Samantha for another woman - on the day of a big move into the new family home. This forces Samantha to suddenly reevaluate her life, work through grief, and ultimately attempt a fresh start.
