One of the regular series of volumes published in the project, under the auspices of the British Academy. The project's aim is to publish major collections of ancient Greek coins, principally in public institutions, but sometimes in private hands. The purpose is to make available to scholars corpora of unpublished material to be used in, for example, studies of individual mints. Each volume gives brief descriptions, along with technical details (weight, die-axis, metal, references, suggested dates) of every coin opposite plates illustrating both their obverse and reverses (i.e. "heads" and "tail").
