This book is a compilation of my personal true-life short stories, as well as many other people's true-life accounts of what they encountered and endured during their lives, where many of these short stories could be the basis for an entire book. The broad topics covered within the book are family (children and parents), war (WW2 and US Navy during the Cold War), and work (personal interactions, brilliance, and insanity). All of these short stories are non-fiction, with the one exception being a provocative dream the author had about mountain gorillas.
