Mothers tend to receive plenty of unsolicited advice about their children. Momsplaining is when someone tries to tell a mother how to raise her child. This book provides just a small fraction of the insensitive, unsupportive, and sometimes downright rude comments said to mothers. The animals were purposely matched up with a momsplaining phrase to help illustrate its irony and absurdity. The original paintings are acrylic with a watercolor wash and button-eyes.
